2008 WA Industry and Export Awards program

Strategic Marine has won the Large Advanced Manufacturer Export Award in the 2008 WA Industry and Export Awards program - giving us a hatrick of gongs so far this year, with the prospect of two national awards still to come.

2007 Business Excellence Award

Strategic Marine,was awarded the Australian Chamber of Commerce Vietnam 2007 Business Excellence Award.

Sponsored by the ANZ Banking Group,  the award is one of several designed to highlight manufacturing quality, innovation, community service and importing success in Vietnam.

Ernst & Young Australian Entrepreneur of the Year Award

Strategic Marine chairman and founder Mark Newbold has won an Ernst & Young Australian Entrepreneur of the Year Award - adding yet another business accolade to the company's rapidly expanding trophy cabinet.

Mr Newbold, whose shipbuilding company has its headquarters at Henderson in Western Australia, took out the national Entrepreneur of the Year Award in the Products Category.

WA BUSINESS NEWS RISING STAR AWARD

Strategic Marine has been awarded the "WA BUSINESS NEWS RISING STAR AWARD".

Rising Stars Awards provide an annual platform to showcase companies that have sustained high rates of growth and recognise enterprises that understand and can articulate the key drivers behind sustained growth.

Defence Recognised Supplier

Presented by the Department of Defence in recognition of Strategic Marine's record of supply to the Australian Defence Organisation and the contribution it has made to the continued sustainablity of the Australian Defence Force.
